Refund Policy

At Grace Home Candles, we take immense pride in the quality of our hand-poured candles. Every order is carefully inspected and packed before dispatch. However, if something goes wrong, we want to make it right.

1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns under the following circumstances:

  • The product arrived damaged (e.g. broken glass, crushed packaging)
  • The product is defective (e.g. wick fault, significant cosmetic flaw from production)
  • You received the wrong product
  • The product is missing from your order

We do not accept returns for:

  • Change of mind or personal fragrance preference
  • Minor natural variations in colour, texture, or surface finish (common in hand-poured candles)
  • Products that have been lit or used
  • Products returned without prior authorisation
  • Claims made after 7 days of confirmed delivery

2. How to Initiate a Return

To request a return, please follow these steps within 7 days of receiving your order:

  • Step 1: Email us at returns@gracehomecandles.in with your order number and a description of the issue.
  • Step 2: Attach clear photographs of the damaged/defective product and the packaging.
  • Step 3: Our team will review your request within 1–2 business days and confirm whether your return is approved.
  • Step 4: If approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup at no cost to you (for eligible claims). Do not ship the product back without our confirmation.

Returns must be in their original packaging (or securely re-packed to prevent transit damage).

3. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the refund decision within 2 business days. If approved:

  • Refunds will be credited to your original payment method (UPI, card, net banking, etc.)
  • Processing time: 7–10 business days (bank processing times may vary)
  • Razorpay refunds may take an additional 2–3 days to reflect in your account

Alternatively, you may opt for a replacement of the same product at no additional cost, which is often faster than a refund.

4. Exchanges

We do not offer like-for-like exchanges for fragrance preference. However, if you received a defective product, you may request a replacement of the same product.

5. Damaged in Transit

If your order arrives visibly damaged (damaged outer box), please:

  • Accept the package but note the damage with the delivery person where possible
  • Photograph the outer packaging before opening
  • Photograph the contents upon opening
  • Email us within 24 hours of delivery at returns@gracehomecandles.in

Failure to document and report transit damage within 24 hours may affect your eligibility for a claim.

6. Gift Orders

If a Grace Home product was received as a gift and is damaged or defective, the gift recipient may contact us directly. Please provide the order number (usually included in the packaging) and proof of purchase if possible.
